  • ALUMNI-LED FOOD DRIVE SUPPORTS STUDENT FOOD PANTRY

    Nick Sulak ‘17 and his business partner, Rob Brendle ‘18, reached out to Niner friends and collected over $800 to purchase some of the highest-need items for the student pantry. They delivered 317 pounds of food and essential items on the morning of the drive.

  • GivingTuesday Inspires Everyday People To Act With Radical Generosity

    In North Carolina, college students Nicholas Sulak and Robert Brendle partnered with UNC-Charlotte and Amazon on a month-long food drive for the campus food pantry, which provides food for more than 200 students every week. On GivingTuesday, they hosted an in-person celebration of giving complete with food trucks, vendors, a silent auction, and more, raising more than $27,000 for the Jamil Niner Student Pantry.

  • Niners raise more than $90,000 to fight food insecurity

    Alumni Robert Brendle ’18 and Nick Sulak ’17 hosted the “One Movement Holiday Celebration for Giving Tuesday” fundraiser at Pins Mechanical. Patrons enjoyed live music, games and an auction with proceeds benefiting the Jamil Niner Student Pantry.

    I am honored to announce my selection to the STANDOUT Class of 2022. STANDOUT is a professional development and leadership program of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation that each year recognizes professionals throughout Charlotte for their contributions to the community, both professionally and philanthropically. The STANDOUT program culminates with an awards ceremony event on Thursday, October 27 at The Mint Museum in Uptown.

  • Taking the Licensed Apparel Market by Storm: One Chaptr

    Nicholas Sulak, founder of One Chaptr, turned his passion for branded sports apparel into a successful business by producing licensed merchandise for UNC Charlotte. He capitalized on the university’s rebrand post-COVID and grew his company with tools like Printavo for streamlined operations and InkSoft for print-on-demand stores.

    In addition to business success, One Chaptr is involved in philanthropy, donating a portion of large orders to scholarships and supporting causes like food insecurity and mental health. Nicholas plans to expand the business further by adding new schools and stores while continuing to grow efficiently.
